Wi-Fi & Offline Help
Fix wireless connection drops, 2.4 GHz mesh router conflicts, and false offline status for HP HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e.
Interactive Wi-Fi Troubleshooter
Let the assistant check connection parameters step-by-step.
1. Check Wi-Fi Light on Printer
Select current statusDiagnosis: The printer is broadcasting but cannot handshake with your router. Usually caused by modern mesh dual-band steering (5 GHz vs 2.4 GHz) or a recent Wi-Fi password change.
2. The 2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz Network Trap
Almost all home printers require a 2.4 GHz connection. Modern mesh Wi-Fi systems (e.g. eero, Nest, Orbi) group 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under a single name, causing printers to drop off.
1. Open your router app on your phone.
2. Temporarily pause 5 GHz for 10 minutes (or turn on a 2.4 GHz Guest / IoT network).
3. Reconnect the printer. Once linked, re-enable 5 GHz—the printer will stay locked on 2.4 GHz.
3. Test Printer IP Address
Enter the IPv4 address shown on your printer display or network test sheet:
Quick Push-Button WPS Setup

- Within 2 minutes, push the WPS button on your router.
- The light will turn solid blue once linked.
