Fix Streaks, Lines & Faded Prints
Resolve horizontal white lines, vertical streaks, faded grey text, or missing colors for HP HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e.
Fixing Horizontal Gaps and Vertical Streaks
Horizontal white lines typically mean clogged nozzles; vertical streaks suggest drum marks or dust on the corona wire.
If droplet timing is misaligned, lines will look jagged or have micro white stripes. Go to your printer screen, open Tools/Maintenance, and select Align Printhead.
On laser printers, slide the small green or blue plastic tab across the drum unit 5 times to brush away toner dust, then click it back into locked position.
If marks repeat down the sheet at equal intervals, inspect the drum roller surface for tiny scratches or baked-on adhesive residue.
Avoid running more than 3 cleaning cycles in a row. Too many continuous cycles flood the waste pad and can overheat micro-nozzle elements.
